This video is really helpful, but I'm confused about one thing: you said that we should apply for jobs from Day 0. So, should one apply with their last job experience and education? Reg. Master's, we just say enrolled or not mention it? Would the companies consider the candidate only for jobs that are of the level of their previous education or work ex.? If selected, the student drops out of the program?

People do medicine/ MBBS in usa at age of mid 30/40/50 ! One astronaut did medicine quite late. Unfortunately in India there was age limit for medicine MBBS 24 yrs but now it is removed, with no age limit ! People do study especially those who do master & reaserch pH.d never retired of studying & that is okay. 🙏 ज्ञान अमूल्य है उसकी कोई किंमत नही उसको पाने की कोई उम्र नही 🙏 ज्ञान से बढकर कोई चीज नही, पैसे चुराए जा सकते है, संपत्ति लूटी जा सकती है, ज्ञान और अनुभव, कौशल प्रवीणता लूटी नही जा सकती.🙏 Education knowledge, skill & experience can't be looted, money 🤑 can be.

My parents came to America in 1970 when I was a little boy. I don’t remember it, but my mother told me we all got our Green Cards right there at the airport upon arrival. Now, from what I’ve told, an Indian citizen coming to America today has to wait nearly 100 years to get his Green Card. Why do I mention this? Well, if my parents had stayed in India, then I would have been raised in India and I wouldn’t even consider moving to a foreign country. I honestly feel my life in India would have, in some ways, actually been better had we not moved to America. My advice to Indians: Opportunities in India are getting better, and if you have a good job in India, then stay in India. America isn’t worth because they’ve made it too difficult. I will move back to India after retirement.

There is no placement like in India. They have only career fairs. You need a good network.

It is not only whether to do or not a Masters in USA; the more difficult part is getting a job after the Masters and getting an employer to sponsor H1B. Even if sponsored, the chances of getting picked up in H1B lottery, as of now is one out of six. H1B lottery takes place in April but employment can start only from October 1. The employer should be prepared to wait for you 6 months for you to join. Unless you are an exceptional candidate, no employer will keep the post vacant that long: instead fill it up as early as possible. Please consider these aspects before spending lacs for a Masters in US.
